Dr. Svetlana Räim graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 1987 and completed her internship in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1988.
Before starting work at Elite Clinic, gynaecologist Svetlana Räim worked for nine years at South Estonia Hospital, where she also worked as the head of the obstetrics department for two years. Since 2004, Dr. Räim has been working exclusively at Elite Clinic. Up till 2015, she also worked as an obstetrician in the Elite Clinic’s obstetrics department.
At the Elite Clinic, she deals with gynaecology and the treatment and prevention of various gynaecological problems and diseases throughout a woman’s life, she monitors and advises pregnant women, performs ultrasound examinations, performs infertility treatment and various procedures.
Helping infertile couples and later monitoring their pregnancy is a topic that is especially important to her.
In her work, she considers it most important that the patient feels cared for and safe.
